Professor Rosie Meek is a forensic psychologist with a particular interest in the positive effects of sport and physical activity in our prisons.
In her address, Professor Meek will give an overview of the research she has undertaken in this area over the last 15 years.
In particular, she will focus on the role of sport and physical activity in promoting education and employability in youth prisons. She will illustrate her talk with examples drawn from some of the prison and community partnerships she has developed and evaluated.
