In collaboration with Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), we’re releasing a new longitudinal Impact Report to show how business schools can complement their curriculum by teaching students the professional and social skills needed to become near peer-mentors.

The School Engagement Programme (SEP) was set up in 2016 with the aim of creating a new way of working with schools and local communities to improve social mobility, community engagement, and employability skills.

Through the introduction of near peer-mentoring as an elective module, we’ve supported Bayes Business School to raise the aspirations of secondary school students alongside equipping university students with strong communication skills.

You can read the longitudinal Impact Report here.

This week we’ll be celebrating the launch of our longitudinal Impact Report at our ‘Boosting Aspiration Through Near Peer Mentoring on the Curriculum Report’ event.

The event takes place on Wednesday 28th February at the Bayes campus, 106 Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8TZ, and will run from 6pm to 9pm.

Our guest speaker on the night will be Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO CBE. A panel discussion will follow, with insights from some of the Project’s alumni together with business leaders.
