One of the Trust’s priorities is to support projects which benefit young people in care and care-leavers, a demographic that consistently falls through the cracks when it comes to education.
We are pleased to present the outcome of the first year of a knowledge exchange programme led by University College London’s Faculty of Education and Society, the IOE, and funded by the Trust; Promoting the Achievement of Care Leavers (PACL).
The final research piece will span three years and cover the activities of educational institutions in six London boroughs as they provide services and encourage their local care experienced young people to progress in education, employment and training.
